A day in the life...ACGI Shipping Superintendent Teddy Trica

Responsible for ships visiting the B.C. coast, Trica works with captains, longshoremen and crew to get things done...

Through the lens of photographer Dave Roels, the spotlight is shone on Teddy Trica to highlight the role of supervising the loading of vessels. Teddy  is a superintendent with ACGI Shipping Inc.. He also is responsible for the d’AMICO Dry Limited group of ships that visit the Island and Vancouver. When one of the many d’AMICO ships come to town, Teddy is there to take care of business.

Having travelled the oceans of the world as an engineer, Teddy knows the ins and outs of a ship and crew. Here are some photographs of Teddy working with captains,  longshoremen and crew as he supervises the loading of two d’AMICO ships at Harmac, Vancouver Wharves and Neptune and Lynnterm Terminals.
