CIABC hosts annual luncheon on board the Coral Princess

The Cruise Industry Association of B.C. hosted its annual fundraising luncheon on board the Coral Princess in early June while the ship was berthed at Canada Place. Industry representatives enjoyed a scrumptious three-course lunch, followed by a silent auction/raffle and a self-tour of the ship. Mary-Ann Isinger, President of CIABC (and Port Operations Manager for Holland America Group), and Greg Wirtz, President CLIA - North West and Canada, both welcomed guests and provided an overview of both the CIABC and the 2018 cruise season. Peter Smyth, Senior Chaplain for the Mission to Seafarers -- and beneficiary of proceeds raised -- provided words of encouragement for seafarers before blessing the meal. Steve Hnatko, Treasurer of CIABC and General Manager, West Coast  Agencies), ran the silent auction raffle. To the great delight of attendees, gift certificates, gift baskets and special prizes were awarded.
