Photos: Vancouver Maritime Museum Fireworks Night attracts sold-out crowd

The Vancouver Maritime Museum outdid themselves in hosting this year's Annual Industry Fireworks Night on August 2. As the best spot in Vancouver to watch the Celebration of Light in English Bay, the VMM organized a sold-out event that had a British theme in keeping with country competing that night. In addition to a silent and live auction, guests enjoyed a scrumptious buffet (bangers and mash, chutney chicken and other well-known British fare), live entertainment (the Fab Fourever Beatles cover band) and, of course, a spectacular display of fireworks. Thanks to Vancouver Maritime Museum for providing photos that captured all of the evening festivities. While we've made every effort to identify all of the people in the photos, if you spot an error or can provide more names, please contact jane@bcshippingnews.com.
