Newest vessel in Norden's fleet provides opportunity to meet the Norden team now based in Vancouver

The MV Nord Pacific, Norden's newest bulk carrier, was berthed at Kinder Morgan wharves in North Vancouver earlier this week to load grain. The arrival of the vessel coincides with Norden's announcement of establishing an office in Vancouver, recognizing the importance of the West Coast market. To celebrate the arrival of the Supramax vessel, Port of Vancouver's Doug Mills, Senior Account Rep, Trade Development, presented Captain Danilo Quero with a plaque and other gifts to commemorate the visit. The event, organized by the Mason Agency, provided an opportunity for local stakeholders to tour the ship as well as meet with crew and the Norden Shipping team who will be based in Vancouver.

The Nord Pacific is 199m in length with a beam of 32m and gross tonnage of 35,035 tons. Watch for the May issue of BC Shipping News for more details.
